In 1986, Yuki Ito was in his twenties. That's when he founded Megabass in his hometown, Hamamatsu, Japan.

Megabass quickly established itself as a high-end fishing lure company. With the introduction of the break-through POP-X bait and the Destroyer rod series in 1996, Megabass transformed the Japanese fishing tackle industry.

Lifelike Lures

The Megabass baits are beautiful. But the internal strcuture of Megabass baits, with their patented Moving Balancers, makes their movements lifelike and unique.
