Only americans say" WORLD'S BEST FILLET KNIFE". World best knife is from Japan. This word used frequently by the politicians and no brain people, who never eat good food, except pizza and KFC greasy chicken (Posted on December 7, 2012)

Thanks for an American made product. It feels good spending my money on things made in the USA. I always try and buy made in America even if it cost a little more. I usually find the product a higher quality with a longer service life. Since taking care of my environment and providing jobs for my neighbors is important to me I spend the extra money to keep my money here at home. Reminds me of steel in an old Case Muscrat ( pocket knife) that I have carried for years...takes and holds an edge much better than the "stainless" stuff commonly available. It's long enough to fillet big pike, and still dedicate and sharp enough on the tip to remove that annoying row of bones above mid-line in trout. I won't be looking for any more fillet knives..expect this one to outlast me, and I hope to clean a lot more fish. (Posted on July 20, 2012)

This is my second purchase of this knife. The first one was taken off my boat. I hope the new 'owner' enjoys it as much as I did.
The knife rarely needs sharpening as long as I'm cleaning speckled trout or flounder. The scales on redfish do take a toll and require resharpening knife after a couple outings. Most of the people I fish with use electric knives but this knife does a much better job so nothing goes to waste.
Remember to clean and oil the blade after every use or it will develop stains. (Posted on November 17, 2011)

I haven't tried all fillet knives in the world, but this one is as good as advertised and fully meets my expectation. The steel is excellent quality and holds a very sharp edge. It does stain a little, but that is only cosmetic and doesn't affect its function at all. To me, it just indicates a steel that will sharpen well and hold an edge. The sheath is of excellent quality, made of thick leather that holds its shape well. This is a fine product that I heartily recommend. (Posted on October 1, 2011)
