G Loomis Popping Rods

G. Loomis Classic Saltwater Popping Casting Rods were originally designed to cast live bait for sea trout and redfish using a bobber. Soon anglers discovered these rods worked well for fishing soft plastics and small jigs for bonefish, small snook and other flats fish.

G. Loomis Classic Saltwater Popping Casting Rods have softer tips that allow the bait to land quietly on the longest casts. They come in several lengths for fishing applications such as spoons, bucktails or surface lures. Very lightweight, these are surprisingly powerful rods that can handle large fish such as small tarpon or oversized snook.

All rods feature premium “A” grade cork handles, Fuji “through blank” reel seats and Fuji guides. Actions vary from moderate-fast to fast. All guides (and the tip top) have oversized I.D.’s to allow for heavy knots and shock tippets common when saltwater fishing. These rods are Made in the USA and include a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
