Quick Overview

Product Description

Popping to casting, finesse to brute strength, if you fish the "SKINNY" water then you're the perfect candidate for our Greenwater rods. This saltwater series has flats anglers everywhere buzzing. The brilliant aqua color (actually, it's called "seafoam green") is the first thing you'll notice, but on closer inspection, you'll discover a whole new STANDARD for light-duty saltwater rods. We spent a lot of time talking to flats guides and worked closely with our dealers and field staff in the development of this series of shallow water rods (in some cases, not-so-shallow for a few critters), but the bottom line is a sharp looking rod, along with the PERFORMANCE you expect from G.Loomis.

An excellent rod for fly-lining shrimp and sight casting small jigs to specks, bonefish, small reds and other flats critters. The rod of choice for many anglers fishing the skinny water over the past 15 years. It will cast a 1/4 ounce jig a country mile and finesse a big bonefish through all kinds of trouble.

A light duty popping rod designed to fish shrimp or small jigs in shallow water applications. The upper half of this rod is very soft and forgiving to allow anglers to drop lightly weighted shrimp in front of cruising bonefish and specks with minimal splash... with or without a popping cork. It's made with our proprietary "fiber blend technology" which provides an excellent balance of sensitivity and lightweight.
