We spent a lot of time talking to flats guides and worked closely with our dealers and field staff in the development of this series of shallow water rods (in some cases, not-so-shallow for a few critters), but the bottom line is a sharp looking rod, along with the PERFORMANCE you expect from G.Loomis.

A great flats rod for tight quarters, small live bait and jigs. It offers a unique blend of power and finesse. Use smaller baits and light line to fool the fish, then rely on the powerful butt section to bring the fish out of trouble and to the boat. A delightful soft plastics rod and one you'll find yourself clipping the line on when it's time to change lures, instead of grabbing a different rod. That is unless you have more than one in the boat.

A light duty spinning rod for fishing shrimp, small spoons or light jigs, it has a nice soft tip with a moderate-fast taper that provides protection for lighter line. It has a powerful butt-section to help with the hookset and keep the pressure on whatever eats your bait. This is a great rod for specks, flounder and other skittish skinny water critters.
