perfect for finesse fishing Review by Chris: Overall Rating

I have used many different brands of reels over the years and have always loved Shimano reels. This Ci4 is one of my favorites to use when finesse fishing. This reel is very lightweight but yet strong and very smooth. When looking at the price the old saying "you get what you pay for" applies to this high quality Shimano product. Great Reel. Didn't know what I was missing Review by Bill: Overall Rating

I've been fishing Shimano spinning reels for lots of years now, but never the upscale Stradic versions. Always figured the extra cost wasn't worth the money. Now I'm not so sure. I've been on 3 trips without any significant line twist problems. Whether this is due to the line (Seaguar Fluorocarbon 8 lb) or the reel, I'm not sure. I always take precautions, but usually have some minor twisting by the end of the day. This is especially true when working spinners & spinner baits across & sometimes down current. Great Reel. Long Casting. Less Twist. Smooth Operation. Just wish it cost under $100. (Posted on June 4, 2012)
