Also equipped with our X45 Technology, these rods are designed using a 45-degree bias construction that prevents twisting of the blank for greater strength, sensitivity and hook setting power. In contrast to standard carbon rods, which have a higher resin content in the space between the carbon fibers, our HVF (High Volume Fiber) rods such as these are made of a carbon fiber compound with less resin. By reducing the amount of resin in the blank, the rods are lighter and more sensitive. Adding to the list of high-end technologies, the Rebellion rods feature our Air Sensor reel seat. This reel seat is built using a carbon fiber material to maximize sensitivity and power, while reducing overall weight.
