- Not the lightest rod but sensitive and so far strong enough. Caught a 8 bass on mine did the job .did get hung up and pulled the rod tip eye loose but it was my faught.
Good rod and yes have caught several bass on this rod.

In my opinion I don't think you can find a better rod for the money. I own more expensive fishing rods, and the G Loomis E6X hangs right there with them.
