Despite those rods being a thing of the past, they were never forgotten. Many of our customers simply missed the MAX rods and continually expressed a desire for them to return to our lineup. Reminiscent of the originals, our new MAX rods are upgraded with premium components and technology. Featuring split cork grips, Fuji reel seats, Fuji SiC guides, and our special MAXUMFIBER blanks, this series now offers even more extreme performance than before. Just like every Powell rod, we finetuned each model with technique-specific lengths, powers, and actions for the utmost in fishability.
