These are great reels,light weight but solid feeling! Aluminum frame gives it that ridged feel with no flex and it casts like a dream no matter what lure your throwing and with the quick adjustment on the side you can change from small lures to bigger lures super fast. I can throw lures all day on this reel and not get any backlashes!

I now own five of these reels. Casting distance is probably 15% farther than typical levelwinds, and casting lightweight jigs (1/4 oz), crank baits, and top water lures is now possible without breaking out the spinning gear. If these hold up over time, I’ll be even more impressed (5-star). I’ve been setting the mag near the middle of the range and the adjusting the cast control. Backlashes are rare.
This is a great reel. I have 5 of them. They are all smooth, great casting reels and the breaking system works and is easy to adjust. Buy one you won't be disappointed
