the rod is everything that the manufacturer advertises. when bass lightly inhales finesse lures, a tight ‘ping’ can be sensed as opposed to the traditional ‘tap’ or ‘thud’ felt with the loomis bcr803c or loomis mbr glx2000 or shimano cumulus 610mh. the titanium torzite guides are beautiful to look at but i did find it strange the the tiptop was titanium with sic insert rather than tortzite insert. the tip of the rod is lighter than rods of similar length; almost as light as the loomis glx2000 and similar to the cumulus 610mh and dobyns 703c, two rods which illustrate good balance.
