Very disappointed

I purchased this in 6’6” light action to catch fishery trout. I read several reviews of St Croix fishing rods breaking during normal casting or hook sets. I should have listened to the reviews but I didn’t. I used a Tatula with four lbs test Berkeley Vanish fluorocarbon a number 10 bait holder J hook with the drag set to 3/4 lbs. The tip broke while reeling in a Trout that weighed less than 1/4lbs.
