great spinnerbait rod

i live in Michigan and do a lot of spinnerbait fishing in the fall. i bought this rod so i would have a rod strong enough to cast 3/4 and 1 oz spinnerbaits a long way out but also have the power to set the hook at the end on the cast. It worked great at fulfilling both items.
