An easy casting, extra-fast action spinning rod designed to fish leadhead feather or marabou jigs for silver salmon as they enter the rivers in late summer/early fall on the way to spawn. It's shorter than most salmon rods at 7'6", with a light tip for casting light jigs, up to 1/2 ounce. The lower two-thirds of the rod is very powerful for making long, precise casts and fighting fish. IMX makes it light and very sensitive! You'll probably find more uses for this rod than you think!
